We didn't just post questions to Reddit and expect others to do the work for us. When I started out, a lot of things needed to be configured by hand and when problems arose, we had to research the issue and solve it ourselves. I've been using Linux as my primary OS for more than 16 years.
Well, obviously your experience is much different than mine.

You're expecting an awful lot out of a community of mostly volunteers who code Linux.
WHY WINDOWS IS BETTER THAN MAC REDDIT INSTALL
In short, you can't take a computer designed for Windows, install Linux and then complain when it doesn't work. Even then, I researched laptop makes and models before purchase to ensure that they would work. To give Linux credit, I've installed it onto numerous off-the-shelf laptops over the years and everything either worked out of the box or I only needed to make a few tweaks to get everything working perfectly. When you take an existing computer or laptop, one designed to work with Windows then it's a crap shoot as to whether everything will work correctly. But, before I built this system I made sure to choose components that were known to work with Linux. In fact my current workstation stays on and up constantly, I rarely shut it down and it just keeps on humming away. I haven't had any system crashes or freezes in years. No, which is why I choose hardware that I know works well.
